Will Indiaโs Youth make it a Superpower? Idowu Koyenikan once said, "Show me the heroes that the youth of your country look up to, and I will tell you the future of your country." I clearly remember that when we were in school, we aspired to become an astronaut, a scientist, a civil servant, a fauji, or a sportsperson. Our role models used to be figures like Savitribai Phule, Bhagat Singh, APJ Abdul Kalam, Rakesh Sharma, Satyendra Nath Bose, Vikram Batra, and Viswanathan Anandโthe list is endless. Today, if you ask any 15-year-old who they look up to, their answer might surprise you. Without naming anyone in particular, I can vouch that the answer is not the same anymore. You may hear responses like a YouTuber, an influencer, a vlogger, or a gamer. As a result, they engage with this kind of content. Now, there is nothing wrong with these professions.
